Inventory & Logistics Coordinator
Sydney holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Greek and Roman art and archaeology. She is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Information where she completed her Master’s degree in Museum Studies focusing on collections management and exhibition development. While pursuing her graduate studies, Sydney interned with the Royal Ontario Museum, coordinating the production and contributing to the writing and research of an upcoming publication of the museum’s permanent collection of Greek and Roman sculpture.
Sydney’s professional background includes more than 3 years of experience in museum registration, inventory and collections management. Since graduating, she has worked with organizations in both the museum and fine art services industries, acquiring an in-depth knowledge of cataloguing, artwork handling and logistics.
Sydney has remained an avid volunteer within the arts and culture sector in Toronto. Over the years, she has volunteered with multiple institutions including the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Gardiner Museum. She is looking forward to continuing her involvement with Canada’s art community as part of the Cowley Abbott team.
